ONHOST.UK

Production quickstart

Take a fresh ONHOST CMS installation from first sign-in to a tested customer purchase flow.

## 1. Establish the platform identity In **Admin → Settings**, set the site name, public URL, support email, legal company details, VAT number, invoice prefix, default language and default currency. These values are used across account emails, invoices and customer-facing pages. ## 2. Secure the administration area Use a unique administrator password and enable TOTP for staff accounts. Keep registration, password-login and session-lifetime settings aligned with your support process. Restrict access to the hosting account and database to the people who operate the platform. ## 3. Configure payments and email Add Stripe and/or PayPal credentials in **Admin → Settings**. Configure the provider webhook with the exact public endpoint shown by ONHOST, then send a test email through the SMTP settings. A checkout should never be considered live until the payment webhook, receipt email and invoice have all been tested. ## 4. Publish a product Create a product in **Admin → Products** with a clear name, description, price, currency and delivery type. For a digital product, upload the release ZIP in the product files tab. For a hosting plan, choose the appropriate provider module and only enable automatic provisioning after its connection test has passed. ## 5. Test as a customer Use a real customer account to complete a low-value test order. Confirm the order, invoice, notification and dashboard entitlement are created correctly. For downloads, generate a signed link from **Dashboard → Downloads** and verify it works once and expires as expected. ## 6. Enable only the modules you sell Open **Admin → Modules** and leave unused modules disabled. When Downloads is disabled, download navigation and delivery endpoints are removed. When Licensing is disabled, licence administration and licence details are removed while existing product files remain intact. Enable Licensing before creating a protected CMS product. ## Launch checklist - HTTPS and the public site URL are correct. - SMTP and payment webhooks pass a real test. - Legal and invoice details are complete. - Product stock, pricing, tax and delivery rules have been reviewed. - Backups and hosting-panel access are documented for your team.
