Products, orders and delivery

## Product catalogue ONHOST CMS uses database-backed products. A product can represent a CMS licence, plugin, theme, template, digital release or a managed hosting plan. Each product carries its own description, media, price, currency, availability, update notes and delivery configuration. ## Payment flow The customer receives an order entitlement only after the configured payment provider confirms the payment server-side. Use hosted Stripe or PayPal checkout and configure the matching webhook secret in **Admin → Settings**. Do not mark an order as paid from a browser redirect alone. ## Digital releases Attach a ZIP file to a download product from **Admin → Products**. ONHOST stores the asset privately, calculates a SHA-256 integrity hash, and serves it through an authenticated, time-limited signed URL. Each successful link is consumed after the file passes its integrity check, which prevents a copied link from being replayed. ## Product updates Publish release notes when shipping a new version. Customers with an entitlement see the latest release in their Downloads dashboard. Keep version numbers and release notes meaningful so customers can tell whether an update is routine, feature-focused or security-related. ## Coupons, tax and invoices Use **Admin → Coupons** for controlled discounts and **Admin → Settings** for tax and invoice defaults. Review the final invoice appearance and numbering before taking production payments. Your legal and tax configuration is your responsibility; ONHOST CMS gives you the controls, not jurisdiction-specific tax advice.
